Giro Stage #8 Preview

Weather : Sunny; wind 20kph from back.

Road : Difficult stage like the two last stage. Breakies can win but leaders think about the bonuses time and the last sloped climb help them…

The difficulty of the stage is the Colle Molella, but that is not the arrival. Cyclists have to ride 4 more kilometers in slightly downhill to be at the arrival.

This climb is very sloped in few portions, good for real climbers like Scarponi or Rodriguez, and not for riders like Kreuziger or Hesjedal.

But that is not the arrival so we can have a group at the top and then a sprint, like today.

We have tested to possibilities, a climber or more attack in the climb or o group is at the top and the victories is played by a sprint.
