Between these
two very good climbers, near of the same position in the overall standing, and
in the same shape, one question: “Who likes big slope?” A very important
question because they are very big sloped portions in the “Planche des Belles
Filles.” Long portion of 10-11% and short of 20% in the end! My answer is
Nibali is better than Van den Broeck in big slope. It is that we saw in the
sloped arrival in the other Grands Tours, Giro and Vuelta of the past years.

VICTORY:
Not so many
real climbers in this Tour de France, and even less who likes big sloped. But I
find two of them: Valverde and Mollema. They fall today but without anything
broken and they have shown a great shape in this Tour de France. Particularly
Mollema always good placed in all stages. For me, these two riders are the
perfect kind of cyclist for this climb.

DeleteI think Wiggins is a little bit in better shape than Menchov and both of us don't like big slope, maybe Wiggins more but under an odd of 1.8 don't play. ;)
Valverde vs Scarponi is more difficult as I don't know the shape of Scarponi. He loves this kind of climb but he can be very far after this week or still in front of the action...
